Back Yard Brazil

Today I went to the back yard.

The back yard has a swimming pool and a cactus farm.

Today it became the American Wild West with Indians and Cowboys and Kings and Man Eating Plants.

Cousins & Dogs

Here are my two Brazilian Cousins... Luis Felipe and Sophia.

Here is one of my doggy cousins, Tobi... loved a lot by Julia and Mamede, but not loved by papai.
(He growls all the time at papai.)

There is one big-boy bike and two big boys.

Sophia is nearly 3 and Luis Felipe and I are almost 5. Together we are almost 13.

The Language of Horses

Horses speak the same language no matter what country they are in. That's not true of people.

Luis Felipe and Sophia go for a horse ride every week. They speak Portuguese to the horses, but I don't think it matters. The horses only speak horse.

I think my teacher speaks horse, but she doesn't speak English, and my Portuguese wasn't good enough to ask her.

I'm not sure about cows. We couldn't get close enough.

May 7 - A Very Good Day

Today was a very good day because I learned how to ride the training bike. I also met Humberto and his dog, Dara. I also met Humberto's mother, Ines... But most of all I met Humberto. He made paper airplanes and we played with clothes pins and chalk.

Here I am riding my bike. We do it without a helmet in Brazil, but I don't quite understand the statistics that back this up.

Stopping Winter

A minute ago it was sunny and +20 degrees Celsius. Now look at me! Weather can be so inconvenient... and so I had an idea, why not ask my Grandpa Roy to build me a Chalet to live in!

18 hours of hard labour later it was ready. The best thing about it was that it wasn't MY hard labour. I'm exempted because I'm too young.

It's such a civilized life, now that I have the basic amenities - and a sandbox outside.

Why swim when you can hot tub?

Why swim when you can hot tub?
Because to go down water slides you need to know how to swim... and I love water slides. You can see how much I love watersides in the centre photo. I'm too fast!
