KeeferKicks moves

KeeferKicks is moving!  You will find our new secret location here:

This move was due to blogspot removing the ability to add video... and you know that Julia and I like video a lot.

I had a birthday last weekend and this weekend! The first was for everyone in my close neighbourhood, but Amanda & Luca, Noah, Adam & Sarah showed up too.

This weekend, the party was for my school mates. Here is a different Noah, Amanda, me, Nicholas, Julia, Wyatt. cowen couldn't come, and Ethan was sitting at a different part of the table.

As well as the trampoline (Nana and Grandpa), I got a castle (mum & dad), a shark-octopus battle t-shirt (Kieran & Declan), a credit card for toys R us (Mary & Jane), another credit card for chapters (Noah yellow shirt), a Brazil Soccer shirt (Older Noah) etc. If one was to measure love by the tonnage of birthday gifts, then I am loved. I wonder if this is the best way to measure it?

Bye Bye Brazil - Hello Trampoline

Humberto simultaneously introduced Julia to red roses and me to video game violence. When Batman hit the thug he became transparent and then vanished. There was no blood, but for some reason Papai was unimpressed.

Papai was much more impressed with the ball park in Don Pedro shopping mall and the birthday party fun place where Elaine works.

It was time to say goodbye to Brazil and all its people and trees.

Whenever I got back to Calgary, the back yard had a trampoline! It was my birthday present from Nana and Grandpa!

Back Yard Brazil

Today I went to the back yard.

The back yard has a swimming pool and a cactus farm.

Today it became the American Wild West with Indians and Cowboys and Kings and Man Eating Plants.

Cousins & Dogs

Here are my two Brazilian Cousins... Luis Felipe and Sophia.

Here is one of my doggy cousins, Tobi... loved a lot by Julia and Mamede, but not loved by papai.
(He growls all the time at papai.)

There is one big-boy bike and two big boys.

Sophia is nearly 3 and Luis Felipe and I are almost 5. Together we are almost 13.

The Language of Horses

Horses speak the same language no matter what country they are in. That's not true of people.

Luis Felipe and Sophia go for a horse ride every week. They speak Portuguese to the horses, but I don't think it matters. The horses only speak horse.

I think my teacher speaks horse, but she doesn't speak English, and my Portuguese wasn't good enough to ask her.

I'm not sure about cows. We couldn't get close enough.

May 7 - A Very Good Day

Today was a very good day because I learned how to ride the training bike. I also met Humberto and his dog, Dara. I also met Humberto's mother, Ines... But most of all I met Humberto. He made paper airplanes and we played with clothes pins and chalk.

Here I am riding my bike. We do it without a helmet in Brazil, but I don't quite understand the statistics that back this up.
